About Us

What We Do
The LDCC meets once per month on the second Tuesday. Meetings focus on supporting democratic candidates, platforms, and issues both local and state-wide. We hold one social meeting per quarter to invite folks to get to know us or just hang out with fellow community members. You can also find LDCC members volunteering in the community, tabling at festivals, and representing Leominster at the Democratic State Convention every year!
For more information on how the LDCC is structured, check out our By-Laws.

Becoming a Member
LDCC meetings are open to the public; joining one of our meetings is a great way to see if you'd like to become a member of the LDCC! Any registered democrat who resides in Leominster and will be 18 years-old before the closest upcoming election is eligible to join the LDCC. Anyone who wants to become an LDCC member should plan to attend 2-3 meetings to get to know current members and familiarize themselves with our work. Associate membership is then granted by majority vote from a quorum (see Article III of our ByLaws). Elected (voting) LDCC members must appear on the ballot during a presidential primary election. Anyone who receives five (5) or more signatures from their Ward members will appear on the ballot. If you are interested in becoming an LDCC members and have any questions about the process, please contact us!
LDCC Calendar
Our public calendar has upcoming meetings and events for LDCC and the city. If you have an event you'd like to add, please contact us!
